Georgia Kousoulou breaks down as she shares she nearly split from Tommy Mallet

Georgia Kousoulou has broken down in tears as she revealed she nearly split from Tommy Mallet.

The reality TV star opened up in a new trailer for the third season of their reality show Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps.

She said there was a point where she almost broke up with Tommy, saying she took off her engagement ring.

Georgia gave Tommy an ultimatum in their eight year relationship which led to Tommy being diagnosed with severe ADHD.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a condition that includes symptoms such as being restless and having trouble concentrating.

The new series sees the couple juggle being parents to 17 month old Brody and being the owners of a successful footwear business.

In the trailer of series 3 Tommy talks about what he has been through, and says: "Cor, it's been a tough three months. How do I start? Brody's good. Better than ever. Smiley, cheeky, getting big.

"And he's the reason why I had to confront something I've been dealing with for 30 years to stop me from losing my family."

Georgia then adds: "I think we both got to the point where we was just like, you know, it's not working.

"I feel like we both was on the same page and he said he wanted to move out. I said I would move out and then I remember taking my ring off."

Tommy went on to say that 'it's still very raw' but he has found 'there have been developments in the last few weeks'.

Georgia concludes: "If it wasn't for Brody, maybe I would have just walked away. When you are a mum, you just can't. You can't just break up your family like that, can you?'

Talking about his and Georgia's relationship, Tommy said they have always shared their highs and lows with viewers due to finding fame on TOWIE.

He said: "Georgia and I wanted to raise awareness of ADHD and felt it was important to share our story. ADHD can often go undetected and there are varying degrees of it but for me, being diagnosed as a 30-year-old adult, it finally all made sense why I behaved in certain ways.

"Seeking help and managing my ADHD has meant that I'm in a better place to be the best partner and dad possible."

Georgia adds: "I am so proud of Tommy getting help and I've already seen a positive change in him and our family life."

The pair got engaged earlier this year after getting back together in 2014.

They then welcomed their son Brody together in May 2021.
