Georgia Harrison has revealed that she called it quits on her TOWIE stardom because she was hitting the booze too hard.
Before she shot to fame on Love Island, Georgia enjoyed a brief stint on The Only Way Is Essex in 2014.
At the time, the blonde babe was just 19-years-old, but the party lifestyle eventually caught up with her.
In a bid to explain her exit from the iconic ITVBe show, Georgia took to Tik Tok to share the story with her fans.
After one follower asked if producers dropped her, Georgia replied: “Yeah, so this is quite a funny story actually.”
The reality TV star went on to refer to her younger self as a "nightmare" as she admitted that she was constantly drinking on set and while filming.
“So, I was on TOWIE when I was about 19 and to be fair, I was a nightmare,” she admitted.
“I was always drinking on set.
“They had to actually cut a couple of my scenes because literally, I was so drunk you couldn’t even understand me.”
She went on: “And once I got called into the office for getting drunk midday at Thorpe Park.
“I was just young and nervous; it is what it is.”
The Love Island babe went on to confess that she was utterly mortified when bosses eventually dropped her from the reality show.
“I was so embarrassed when I got dropped,” she revealed.
“They put it all over the press. And a lot of people were so happy to see me go.
“They literally revelled in me getting dropped.”
Although she experienced some regret at the time, Georgia admitted that she feels she was dropped from the show for a reason.
If she had continued on with her TOWIE journey, she never would have landed a spot on Love Island.
Georgia told her fans: “Then two years later I went on Love Island and I got more followers in two weeks than I would have got in ten years on TOWIE.
“So, there you go guys. Everything happens for a reason.”
