The SEC has postponed the Dec. 5 game between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Vanderbilt Commodores. The rematch is scheduled for Dec. 19, the weekend of the SEC Championship Game.
The Bulldogs are expected to face off against the Missouri Tigers on Dec. 12 in another make-up game. Georgia has been diligent about containing COVID-19 outbreaks within the program and hasn’t needed to cancel or postpone any games. Georgia’s opponents haven’t been as careful or have had more opt outs.
Vanderbilt has a substantial amount of opt outs and COVID-19 cases, which depleted the Commodores and ultimately prevent them from playing Georgia on Dec. 5. The game was set to be the senior’s last game in Stanford Stadium. The Georgia Bulldogs have

The Georgia Bulldogs haven’t had a major COVID-19 outbreak within the program this season. The University of Georgia hasn’t had to cancel any games due to their own shortcomings.
