Georgia football tickets: Updated look at prices for Notre Dame game

Good news for Georgia fans. The ticket prices for UGA vs Notre Dame have gone down by a fair amount.

The bad news is that you’re still hovering around the $400 mark for tickets into the game.

With this Saturday’s game being maybe the biggest home contest in the history of Georgia football, it’s no surprise ticket prices remain high as we enter into game week.

Georgia vs Notre Dame tickets

So many people want in that Georgia is actually expanding Sanford Stadium’s capacity by 500 seats to accommodate Notre Dame’s ticket allotment of 8,000.

Even for Notre Dame, a school that consistently produces notoriously high ticket prices, this is the most expensive game on their schedule. The second highest priced ticket on the Irish schedule, vs USC, is more than $100 cheaper than this Saturday’s meeting, per TicketIQ.

And that makes sense. TicketIQ tells us that this is the most expensive college football regular season game of the last three seasons.

For upper deck seats right now, you’re looking at $384 per ticket to the game.

Compare this game to last year’s most expensive regular season game for Georgia – vs Auburn, which had a get-in of $258 – and you’re still talking a $100+ difference.

Winning does not come cheap. These are the type of ticket prices you would expect for a postseason matchup, not a regular season one.

In fact, if this pattern repeats itself, you’ll likely be spending even more than you are this weekend if you want to watch Georgia play in another SEC Championship Game, assuming we make it there again.
