Georgia football players on Athlon Sports’ preseason SEC teams

College football preview magazine Athlon Sports released its all-conference teams recently and they featured a plethora of Georgia Bulldogs.

The magazine released a preseason all-SEC first, second, third and fourth team. In total, 13 Bulldogs were spread out over these four teams.

Georgia and Alabama were tied with the most players at 13. Florida has 11.

Here are Georgia’s players on the teams.

DL Jordan Davis

DL Malik Herring

LB Monty Rice

CB Eric Stokes

P Jake Camarda

THIRD TEAM:

RB Zamir White

OG Ben Cleveland

FOURTH TEAM:

OLB Azeez Ojulari

CB Tyson Campbell

What stands out most to me is Wake Forest transfer Jamie Newman being named to the preseason all-SEC first team, getting the nod over Florida’s Kyle Trask. Trask has received a ton of preseason hype.
