Georgia Bulldogs long snapper William Mote has the potential to be one of the more important players on the football team. He’s currently the back-up long snapper behind Payne Walker.
Long snappers rarely play positions outside of their specialty. Mote is one injury away from being an important player. He’ll compete with Payne Walker for the starting job next season.
Georgia’s special teams will have a different look without Rodrigo Blankenship. Both Walker and Mote will be snapping for a new kicker, Jared Zirkel, next season.
Mote has been putting in some work this offseason.
