Georgia football offers in-state OT Kelton Smith

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to in-state offensive tackle prospect Kelton Smith. Smith is a member of the class of 2023. He plays high school football, basketball, and track for Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia.

Kelton Smith has great size at 6-foot-6 and weighs 300 pounds. The Carver High School star has received scholarship offers from Ole Miss, FSU, Oregon, and South Carolina thus far. More recruiting interested is headed his way.

Kelton Smith is currently an unranked prospect, but that may change soon. Smith has a solid frame and has received interest from several schools who sign scholarship players who finish typically their careers as well-rated prospects.

The Columbus, Georgia, standout is only a sophomore in high school and has plenty of time to develop. Smith is a dominant run blocker who overwhelms high school competition at the point of attack. He serves up pancake blocks to opposing defensive linemen with startling frequency.

Additionally, Kelton Smith plays both offensive guard and offensive tackle. Positional versatility is always a plus, especially along the offensive front.

Kelton Smith announced his scholarship offer from the University of Georgia via his Twitter account:
