Georgia football injury report for week 10 matchup vs Florida

The Georgia Bulldogs are coming off of their second bye-week of the season at just right time.  Following a South Carolina loss two weeks ago and a second quarter rally vs Kentucky, the Dawgs were in need of an off week to regroup themselves for what will likely be the biggest game of their regular season.

Florida comes into the matchup ranked #6 while Georgia sits at the #8 spot.  Georgia, even though ranked lower, is given a 60.9% chance to win this Saturday, according to ESPNs Football Power Index.

With the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party just 4 days away, here’s a look at the Bulldog’s full injury report (so far) ahead of Saturdays kickoff with the Gators.

Probable: DL Travon Walker

Walker has missed the past two games with an arm injury, but is expected to play Saturday after having a few weeks to heal.

Questionable: DL Jordan Davis

Davis is nursing an ankle injury and is listed as questionable vs Florida.

Questionable: RB Brian Herrien

Herrien suffered a back injury this past week and is unsure whether he will suit up against Florida.  Expect the senior back to be out there for his final GA/FL matchup.

Questionable: DB Mark Webb

Webb has been dealing with a knee injury and is expected to be out vs Florida, but is still unsure.

Questionable: WR Lawrence Cager

Cager has missed the last game with a separated left shoulder and injured ribs.  The banged up Cager has been averaging 12.9 yards per catch this year and would be huge for the Dawgs to have back, but is listed as questionable for Saturday.

Questionable: DB Tyson Campbell

Campbell has missed the past 4 games due to a foot injury he has been battling.  It is unclear whether he will play vs Florida on Saturday or not.

Out: OL Justin Shaffer

Shaffer missed last game with a neck injury and will not dress this Saturday.

Out: WR Tommy Bush

Bush is out indefinitely with a sports hernia.  There is no current timetable for Bush’s return.

Out: T Owen Condon

Condon has been battling a lower body injury for the majority of the season.  His return is unclear.

Out: DL Tramel Walthour

Walthour has also been battling a lower body injury, as his return is unclear.

Out: D’Wan Mathis

Freshman quarterback D’wan Mathis is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to remove a cyst from his brain this offseason.  There is no current timetable for Mathis’ return.
