Georgia football adds 5 new opponents to its future schedules

According to the Athens-Banner Herald, Georgia has added 5 new opponents to its future football schedules including UMass, UAB and three FCS teams.

The Bulldogs will play host to UAB on September 23rd of 2023 and September 11th of 2021 while also bringing back the Minutemen on November 23rd of 2024.

Georgia added more home games with Charleston Southern on November 20th of 2021, Samford on September 10th, 2022 and Tennessee Tech on September 7th of 2024.

UAB and UMass will each receive $1.9 per visit, while the Buccaneers and Bulldogs will get $500,000. However, the Golden Eagles are set to make $550,000 off their trip to the Classic City.

Though major non-conference clashes have already been booked, Georgia has now just about filled its cupcake-week dates for the next several years.

As for now, you can expect to hear a lot less scheduling news involving the Dawgs for the near future.
