The Bulldogs lost a lot of talent on the defensive side of the ball, but are looking to reload in 2019. Georgia will turn to senior linebacker Tae Crowder for defensive leadership in the front seven. Crowder recorded 53 stops last season along with 1.5 sacks.

The LB from Hamilton, Georgia had his best year as a junior and has plenty of room to improve. Crowder started out his UGA career as a RB before he switched to a linebacker. His experience at RB helps read plays and react faster. It gives him a mindset other linebackers don’t have.

Now, Crowder is among the best linebackers in the SEC and will look to be the latest LB drafted from linebacker university. Crowder will join Richard LeCounte, Tyler Clark, and J.R. Reed as the senior leaders for the defense.
