Georgia coach Kirby Smart gets last laugh of spring at Florida’s Dan Mullen (for good cause)

Florida football coach Dan Mullen has been anything but quiet this spring, playing games with attendance numbers and taking subtle shots at rival teams throughout the last couple weeks.

However, Georgia’s Coach Kirby Smart remained silent during the events, opting to ignore Mullen and his playful trolling antics.

Instead, the fourth-year Bulldogs coach waited for the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge on Tuesday to carry more bragging rights into the season.

The 13th annual Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge concluded with Ole Miss’ fourth straight victory, the second during Coach Matt Luke’s tenure in Oxford.

Despite the Rebels winning the overall tournament, Smart and his Bulldog partner David Dukes took home second place at a score of -11 on the day.

The Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl provided more information on the tournament scoring and format in response to a request made by UGA Wire.

“The format is a two-man scramble, so there are no individual scores for the coaches or celebrities.”

Though Smart and Dukes beat out Auburn’s Guz Malzahn, Mullen and former Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson, the biggest victory of the day came at the conclusion of the rounds.

Each pairing of golfers earned an amount of donation money to go to a local charity or academic fund based off position on the leader board.

The complete order of finish, as well as the money raised by each pair, can be found below courtesy of the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.
