Georgia Bulldogs football announces captains versus Kentucky Wildcats

The Georgia Bulldogs have announced their three captains for Saturday evening’s game in Athens versus the Kentucky Wildcats. Georgia’s captains will be: linebacker Monty Rice, quarterback Jake Fromm, and running back D’Andre Swift. The official Georgia Football Twitter account announced the trio:

The Bulldogs will look to bounce back against Kentucky. The Dawgs fell in double overtime 20-17 versus the South Carolina Gamecocks last week. Georgia has to win in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. Following Kentucky, the Dawgs have a bye week.

The Wildcats are 1-3 in SEC conference play and 3-3 overall. They’re coming off a victory over Arkansas, where they used their best receiver at quarterback. Georgia will have to shut down Kentucky’s run game and show more explosiveness when Jake Fromm and company are on the field.
