Georgia Bulldog was PFF’s highest-graded guard in Week 6

Georgia Bulldogs offensive guard Tate Ratledge was Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded offensive guard in Week 6. Ratledge helped Georgia rack up over 600 yards of total offense in the Bulldogs’ dominant 51-13 win over Kentucky.

Ratledge and the Georgia offensive line have played very well to start the 2023 season. Georgia is 6-0. The offensive line had no presnap penalties on the road in a loud environment at Auburn a few weeks ago. Georgia has allowed starting quarterback Carson Beck to be sacked just three times on 196 passing attempts.

Tate Ratledge received a 81.7 rating from PFF in the Kentucky game. Ratledge was a preseason All-SEC First-Team selection and is living up to the hype. The junior offensive lineman has started 20 of the last 21 Georgia games at right guard. The Bulldogs have won 23 straight games overall.

Georgia, who plays at Vanderbilt in Week 7, has not lost a road game since 2020.

Strong offensive line play is a big reason behind Georgia’s success over the past couple of seasons. Offensively, Georgia is currently averaging 40.7 points per game (No. 3 in the SEC). The Bulldogs average 502.3 total yards per game, which is second in the SEC behind LSU.
