Georgia basketball’s Stegmania shows this season’s hype is real

The Georgia Bulldog basketball team is getting more hype this season than any previous season in recent memory. Coach Tom Crean has one of the best recruiting classes ever at Georgia this offseason. He landed potential number one overall pick Anthony Edwards. He’s the most talented player to come through Athens since at least Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

Last night Stegmania was incredible. Stegeman Coliseum had impressive attendance for a preseason scrimmage to hype up the team:

In addition to Stegmania’s good attendance, Georgia season tickets have sold out. Stegeman will be rocking this season as the Dawgs try to navigate the difficult SEC:

Anthony Edwards will be a superstar for the Bulldogs. Fans are extremely excited for his time in Athens. The freshman Guard got an impressive ovation when he was announced:

With Tom Crean and Georgia basketball starting out in the Maui Invitational, fans will immediately be able to see the Dawgs against some of the top teams in the nation. The Maui Invitational starts the 25th of November for the Bulldogs, who will face the Dayton Flyers in the opener. Georgia’s home opener is November 5th against Western Carolina. It should be an awesome season for the Dawgs, who will have time to get organized with three easy opponents before facing Georgia Tech and then traveling to Hawaii.
