Georgia basketball officially lands Anthony Edwards, Christian Brown

The Georgia men’s basketball team has officially landed its two most coveted commits for the 2019 recruiting class.

Anthony Edwards, a 6’5″ guard out of Holy Spirit Preparatory School in Atlanta, Georgia, and Christian Brown, a 6’6″ small forward from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia will be Bulldogs next season.

The highly ranked prospects are listed at No. 2 and No. 61 in the nation respectively, helping Georgia rank in the Top 10 for this 2019 recruiting.

In addition, more help may be on the way with Sahvir Wheeler visiting Athens this weekend and Precious Achiuwa still believed to be considering Georgia.

The signings of Edwards and Brown were announced Wednesday evening after skepticism began to grow throughout the Bulldog faithful.

Head Coach Tom Crean tweeted this out shortly after the announcement of the signings and later liked the following tweet.

And soon after …

What a time to be a Georgia Bulldog.
