Georgia basketball F Nic Claxton addresses NBA decision

Nic Claxton, the Georgia basketball junior forward, decided to test the waters of the NBA Draft this offseason and enter the NBA Combine while connecting with an agent.

Like many college players, Claxton opted to receive valuable feedback from the NBA world before making his final decision.

Per NBA rules, all players officially entering the draft will make their decision by May 29th. At the annual SEC Meetings in Birmingham, Coach Tom Crean told reporters that they would likely be hearing from Claxton by the end of the day.

The 6’11” former three-star out of Legacy Charter School known by Georgia fans as the ‘Slim Reaper’ will announce his decision within the next day.

Claxton posted to his Instagram story that he is still deciding on his future and consulting with his family.

Before this post, a report by Jonathan Givony came out that Claxton would be keeping his name in the NBA Draft.

We will have more updates when Claxton does, in fact, make his final decision on the matter.
