Georgia Basketball and head coach Tom Crean topped off a successful 2019 recruiting cycle with one more commitment: Michael Peake. At 6’7″, Peake has excellent length. Peake will play small-ball power forward and shooting forward this upcoming season. The prospect was originally a class of 2020 player, but has reclassified to 2019. He’ll have a chance to make an instant impact in Athens.
Peake will help with Georgia’s youth movement for the upcoming season. The Dawgs return minimal talent, but have a potential number one overall pick in Anthony Edwards. Peake announced his commitment today via Twitter:
