Georgia baseball rises in the rankings after series win over Auburn

The Georgia men’s baseball team rose in the rankings Monday after taking a series from Auburn over the weekend.

At 39-14, the Bulldogs are No. 2 in the SEC East and No. 4 overall in the conference. After a 2-2 week that included the series victory and two extra innings losses to Auburn and Jacksonville State, Georgia has slightly climbed in the polls.

Here’s where the Bulldogs lie with one week to go before conference tournaments begin.

Georgia has three games left at home next weekend vs. Alabama. Depending on where it finishes in the SEC standings, the Bulldogs will travel to Hoover sometime next week.
