The Georgia baseball team capped off a perfect 4-0 week with a sweep of the Missouri Tigers on Saturday to regain sole possession of the top spot in the SEC standings and rise up the rankings list again.
Monday, the Bulldogs climbed to No. 4 in D1Baseball.com’s weekly poll while reaching No. 3 in the Baseball America poll and No. 4 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll.
At 33-8 and 13-5 in conference play, the Dawgs are primed for another Top 8 Super Regional host spot and at the very least, a Regional host position.
Up next for Georgia is a rubber match against archrival Georgia Tech on Tuesday at SunTrust Park, followed by a three-game weekend road series in Starkville.
