The annual G-Day game closed out spring football practice for Coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday but not before awards were handed out.
In a press release on Tuesday, Georgia sent out a list of award winners for its spring football honors before the team shuts it down for the summer.
Categories included freshmen standouts, academic achievers and the most outstanding walk-ons. A list of the winners can be found below.
Coffee County Hustle Awards:
Defense: Mark Webb, Azeez Ojulari
Offense: Solomon Kindley and JJ Holloman
Academic Awards:
Freshmen GPA Award: Owen Condon (3.95) and Peyton Mercer (3.68)
Sophomore GPA Award: Bill Rubright (3.78) and Chris Smith (3.38)
Junior GPA Award: Prather Hudson (3.81) and Andrew Thomas (3.40)
Senior GPA Award: Rodrigo Blankenship (3.68) and Charlie Woerner (3.29)
Most outstanding walk-ons:
Offense: Willie Erdman and KJ McCoy
Defense: Jordon McKinney
Special Teams: Brooks Buce
