The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top-five for 2021 five-star defensive back James Williams. Williams plays safety and at 6-5 he’s one of the largest safety prospects the Dawgs have pursued in recent years. Williams plays for Western High School in Opa Locka, Florida.

Williams’ top-five reflects the recent dominance of Georgia, Clemson and Alabama in Florida recruiting. The three powerhouses have outdone Miami, Florida State, and Florida for elite recruits the Sunshine state. Miami and Florida State are struggling as a result.
