Georgia agrees to terms on home and home series with Oklahoma in Rose Bowl rematch

The 2018 Rose Bowl Game was one of the greatest college football games ever played and a day Bulldog fans will never forget.

After erasing a 31-14 deficit, Georgia came back to knock off the Oklahoma Sooners in double overtime and advance to the national championship game.

We’ll just leave out the offside call on Tyler Simmons in Atlanta and stop at Sony Michel’s walk-off touchdown.

After a historic game that featured Baker Mayfield, Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, Rodney Anderson, Hollywood Brown, Lorenzo Carter, and Roquan Smith the Bulldogs and Sooners had to schedule a series in the future.

Discussions on a home and home series between the two college football powerhouses have long been in the works but a date was finally set Monday.

Georgia will travel to Norman, OK in the fall of 2023 and host Oklahoma almost a decade later in 2031.

Who’s got tickets and flight plans lined up for 2023 and 2031 already?
