George Square in the city centre is to be closed for over a month beginning next week.
The closure will allow SGN to carry out gas main improvement works over the next four weeks.
The east side of the square will be shut from its junction with from North Frederick Street to Cochrane Street and from South Frederick Street.
South Frederick Street, from Ingram Street to George Square (northbound only) will also be shut.
The closure will be in place from this Monday (July 1) and re-open Sunday August 4.
Delays can be expected especially at peak times and diversions will be signposted.
