George Square consultation hosting pop-up at exhibition on Glasgow and its urban environment

A consultation on the future of George Square is to stage a pop-up this weekend in the city to coincide with an annual exhibition concerning Glasgow and its urban environment.

While the citywide conversation raising the question 'George Square, is it time for change?' is running until the end of October, the pop-up is being staged to coincide with the exhibition 'Imagine Glasgow 2019: Visions from Scotland's New Architecture and Interior Design Talent'.

The pop-up and (annual) exhibition are being held at New Glasgow Society on High Street, and will allow people to find out what the citywide conversation on George Square is all about and see what's happened so far, while adding their own voice to the ongoing conversation.

While the exhibition aims to give space for current students and recent graduates to present their works to a wider audience of the general public to promote discourse on design, architecture, the urban environment and Glasgow itself.

The pop-up and exhibition are free, and run from 12pm to 5pm from today (Friday 25 October) until Sunday (27 October) from 12pm to 5pm.
