Georgia’s star sophomore wide receiver George Pickens has been named to the 2020 Biletnikoff Award watch list.
This award, named after former Florida State and Oakland Raiders wide receiver Fred Biletnikoff, is presented annually to college football’s most outstanding wide receiver.
Pickens lived up to all the hype he was given his freshman year. He led the Dawgs wide receivers in every single receiving category as a freshman.
Pickens caught 49 passes for 727 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2019 and is expected to put up even bigger numbers in 2020 with Wake Forest transfer quarterback Jamie Newman joining the Bulldog offense.
