George Michael's heartbroken lover Fadi Fawaz 'to contest will after being cut out'

George Michael 's heartbroken lover is reportedly planning to contest his will after being cut out of his £98 million fortune.

The star died on Christmas Day in 2016 at the age of 53, and is said to have left nothing to his on-off boyfriend, who he was in a relationship with when he died.

But hairdresser Fadi , who is still living at a £5 million home in London's Regent Park owned by George, is said to feel he deserves a share of the estate.

A source told The Sun : "From the moment George died, Fadi has been insistent that he was a huge part of his life and deserved some of his estate.

"He was stunned when he wasn't left anything and he thinks it's completely unfair.

"He is looking into ways he can contest the will and is determined to get what he believes he deserves."

George died of heart failure.

Ever since then, it's been said that 45-year-old Fadi is "squatting" in the late star's former home.

He is said to be testing the patience of the Club Tropicana singer's surviving family after refusing to vacate the £5m property despite legal letters.

"Fadi is being a real pain about all this," a source close to the family told The Sun.

"He has refused to leave despite several letters and requests in the last 18 months. He is blanking them out and it appears he now has squatters rights.

"It’s been going on for such a long time that it’s hard to know what to do next. The lawyers are seeing what can be done. It would be a lot easier if Fadi just upped sticks and left.".
