George Lewis: First pictures as latest Arsenal signing trains with new team-mates

First pictures have emerged of Arsenal signing George Lewis training with his new team-mates.

On Tuesday, the Gunners confirmed via their official website that the 20-year-old winger had signed professional terms in north London and would link-up with Steve Bould's Under-23 squad.

Lewis was pictured taking part in an U23 session at London Colney on Monday, with the Norwegian competing alongside the likes of defender Harry Clarke as he looks to make an immediate impact at boyhood club Arsenal.

The player has spent his early career competing in the lower divisions of Norwegian football with the likes of Tromso IL, Tromsdalen and Fram Larvik and also previously spent time training in England with Bournemouth and Ipswich Town.

He officially signed for Arsenal after impressing during a two-week trial period earlier this year.

"It's really an unbelievable feeling," Lewis said after penning terms at the Emirates. "It feels really good right now."

Asked what supporters could expect from him, he added: "My playing style is very direct. I like to dribble a lot, I like to express myself on the field, so they can expect a show from me."
