The San Francisco 49ers and tight end George Kittle are stating their case to be the “people’s champion” of the NFC West. They got a win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16, and the 49ers have a determining game in Week 17 against the Seattle Seahawks.
After the big win on Saturday night, Kittle did his best impression of “The Rock” to show how amped he was. The 49ers posted the bit on social media following the team’s 34-31 win. And the impression caught the attention of Dwayne Johnson, who wrote: “The People’s Tight End, lettin’ em know. @gkittle46 #PeoplesChampApproved #1InTheWest.”
Johnson could clearly smell what the 49ers are cooking.
It’s easy to imagine The Rock’s response will make Kittle’s night. The tight end is a huge fan of pro wrestling.
