George Kittle became the latest 49er to suffer an injury. He exited to the locker room in the fourth quarter after hauling in a 25-yard reception between two defenders.
The catch was just Kittle’s second of the game, but he was hit and landed awkwardly. He immediately limped toward the sideline and sat on the bench.
A few plays later he joined quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo in the locker room.
He is officially ‘questionable’ with an ankle injury, but with 10 minutes left in a blowout, it’s hard to imagine he returns.
