George Galloway's face spotted on Madonna's pillow cases

In what could possibly be the most bizarre sentence you’ll read all week, it has been revealed that Madonna has (or at least at one point had) a picture of George Galloway on her pillows.

The popstar shared an image of her and her young son Rocco on her Instagram page, where the leader of the Respect Party’s face (or his that of his doppelgänger) could be seen emblazoned across one of the pillows behind them.

The 'Material Girl' singer is known for pushing boundaries within music, fashion, and now apparently bed linen as well.

The pillow was spotted by the Truth Seeker Twitter account and shared by Galloway on his own page. Apparently pleased by having his face peering out from behind the Queen of Pop's, he also re-tweeted a number of messages from eagle-eyed Twitter users who had made the same connection.

The pillow cases are covered in a reprint of an article in The Guardian from 2005, which reported on a memorable address Galloway gave in the US senate where he denied any involvement in Iraqi oil trades.

The headline underneath it reads: "I am not, nor have I ever been, an oil trader".

The image Madonna posted is understood to have come from the 2005 August issue of Vogue, which was shot in the Ashcombe home she shared with her children and former partner Guy Ritchie.
