George Galloway has become a father for the sixth time after his wife gave birth to a baby girl.
The former Labour MP and his wife, Putri Gayatri Pertiwim, have welcomed their third child who was born at home.
He tweeted: "We are delighted to announce the natural home-birth of our third child -a girl - at 1.41am -8lbs 6oz.
"Mother and baby are both doing well. Pictures later!
"She has three brothers and two sisters by the grace of God.
"Huge thanks to the truly wonderful midwives Karen and Lucy."
In March, he announced he was expecting a baby with his fourth wife, Putri Gayatri Pertiwim, who is 30 years his junior.
The couple married in a hotel in Amsterdam in April 2012.
Dundee-born Galloway first became an MP in 1987 after winning the Glasgow Hillhead seat for Labour.
Speaking after his fifth child was born, the 65-year-old said: "It used to be the tradition of Irish Catholic immigrants to have six children, so I'm not stopping here.
"As long as God gives me breath - and energy - there will be more. It's the best thing that ever happened to me.
"There's nothing that keeps you young like your children climbing over your face in the morning to wake you up. It's life-enhancing."
From 1979 to 1999, Galloway was married to his former teenage sweetheart, Elaine Fyffe.
Together, they had a daughter, Lucy.
After his divorce from Elaine, he married Dr Amineh Abu-Zayyad, a Palestinian scientist.
When he and Dr Abu-Zayyad divorced, Galloway had a son, Zein, with his Lebanese former researcher, Rima Husseini.
They married in 2005 and had two sons together.
