The four-year-old great niece of George Floyd has been shot as she slept in bed in a 'targeted attack' at her family home.
Little Arianna Delane suffered a punctured lung and liver and sustained three broken ribs after a suspect opened fire in Houston.
She underwent surgery and is expected to survive.
Police in Texas have not revealed a motive nor have they provided a description of the shooter but Arianna's family say the know who the suspect is and that it was targeted.
Four adults and two children were inside the home when the attack took place on Saturday at around 3am.

Arianna, whose gran is Mr Floyd's sister, was asleep in a front bedroom when she was hit.
Her dad Derrick Delane told ABC 13 : "My daughter jumped up and said, 'Daddy, I been hit.
"I was shocked until I seen the blood and I realised my four-year-old daughter was really hit. She didn't know what was going on. She was asleep."

He said he hopes his daughter can achieve her dream of being a cheerleader or a dancer, and he hopes she's still able to achieve her dreams.
Arianna reportedly attended several protests last year to honour her murdered great uncle.
The 46-year-old died after policeman Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for more than nine minutes during an arrest in Minneapolis over an alleged fake $20 bill on May 25, 2020.

Soon after the tragic incident, a video emerged of Chauvin kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck with him pleading "I can't breathe".
Mr Floyd's death sparked a wave of protests around the world with his dying words used as a rallying cry.
Chauvin, 45, was found guilty of unintentional second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter and sentenced to 22 and a half years in jail.
ABC 13 aired footage last year of the family, including Arianna, reacting to Chauvin being found guilty in Floyd's murder.
Chauvn's colleagues Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, and J Alexander Kueng, did nothing to intervene and were all sacked.
