Popular singer George Ezra will be embarking on a nationwide tour in 2022, and will visit Glasgow's OVO Hydro as part of his brand new album release dates.
After announcing his brand new album, Gold Rush Kid, due for release on June 10, George also excitedly told fans he would be going on a UK-wide tour.
“The Gold Rush Kid? That’s me,” says George, reflecting on the title of his third record – a 12-strong suite of songs that more than anything “sound like me. That’s what ties them together.”

The new tour, announced on Friday morning, will begin in September at the Liverpool M&S Bank Arena and finishing at the Sheffield FlyDSA Arena on October 2.

When is George Ezra coming to Glasgow?
Ezra will visit Glasgow's OVO Hydro on Monday September 26, as he travels from Aberdeen the night previously performing at the P&J Live in The Granite City.
He will only play two Scottish dates, one in Glasgow and one in Aberdeen, so you better nab those tickets quick if you want to catch him in our nation!
When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets will become available for fans who have pre-ordered George's newest album Gold Rush Kid before 3pm on Tuesday April 26, where they will get exclusive presale access on Wednesday April 27 at 9am.
OVO Members Club and O2 Priority members will also have access to an exclusive presale an hour later on April 27, at 10am.
And previous buyers of his gigs that were cancelled back in February 2022, due to the singer developing a serious bout of chickenpox, will also have a chance to purchase tickets early.
Previous buyers and Gigs in Scotland account holders will be able to purchase tickets a day before general sale on Thursday, April 28 at 10am.
Then, finally, general sale will occur on Friday April 29 at 9am - that is, if there are any tickets left!
Where can I get George Ezra tickets?
Ticketmaster will be the main ticket sellers for this UK tour - but Gigs in Scotland will also be holding a priority sale on Thursday April 28.
