George Clooney says wife Amal has banned him from cutting his daughter's hair

George Clooney joked that he'd end up in big trouble with his wife if he dared to cut his daughter's hair.

The Hollywood actor shares three-year-old twins Ella and Alexander with human rights lawyer Amal, but he's not allowed anywhere near his little girl's hair with a pair of scissors.

The doting dad, 59, has relished in spending so much time with his kids during lockdown and has even become a barber for his son - but that's where it ends.

As he posed up for the cover of W magazine, he said: "I cut [my son's] hair, and I cut my own hair too, but I've always cut my own hair. My hair is like straw.

"I haven't cut my daughter's hair. I'd get in trouble if I did. If I screw up my son's hair, he'll grow out of it. But my wife would kill me if I touched my daughter's hair."

George and Amal haven't actually cut Ella's hair yet, and George gushed that his little girl's locks were long and "gorgeous".

The Ocean's Eleven star also joked that he'd taken up cleaning as a hobby while being stuck at home.

He quipeed: "I'll tell you what I've taken on as a hobby: two or three loads of laundry a day, dishes all f**king day, because these kids are all slobs.

"Apparently, you have to wash your children every once in a while."

Earlier this year, George spoke about why he had chosen to give his children normal names, unlike some celebrities.

He told AARP : "I didn’t want, like, weird-ass names for our kids. They’re already going to have enough trouble. It’s hard being the son of somebody famous and successful."

He's opened up about his family life a lot lately.

He also recently told the Los Angeles Times how he'd been spending time during nine months of lockdown.

He shared: "I have three-year-old twins, so that's been an adventure in a lot of washing dishes and changing diapers. My own, mostly."
