George Bowie has revealed that he's teaming up with Baccara for a special remix of Yes Sir I Can Boogie.
Last year the 'Boogie' song became the unofficial anthem of the Euro 2020s which saw the Scotland squad qualify for their first major tournament in 22 years.
The victorious squad's enthusiastic celebration after beating Serbia on nail-biting penalties pushed the 70s track to the top of the iTunes charts.
Now George is 'collaborating' with the Spanish duo as well as DJ Sparkos to create a special version of the iconic hit.
Original singer Maria Mendiola recorded her vocals for the GBX version and George has said that the final version will be out tomorrow (Friday).
Posting the news, on his Instagram, George couldn't contain his excitement.
He wrote: "Got my collaboration with these 2 coming your way on Friday. GBX versus Baccara Yes Sir I Can Boogie 2021. Sparkos remix."
And fans were delighted at the news.
One wrote: "Bring it!"
Another said: "Looking forward to it."
While one added: "Looking forward Sir!"
And one more added: "Yassss."
Bowie's re-work of Bits and Pieces is already the goal tune at Hampden but maybe his new version of Yes Sir will replace it.
The original Baccara tune became a hit with the Scotland team a few years ago when a video of Andy Considine surfaced on the internet.
Andy was dancing to the hit on his stag do, wearing bright red lipstick, dressed in a blue checked mini skirt, stockings and bra top.
Last year, George and Sparkos teamed up and created a cover of David Bowie ’s Heroes featuring singer Stephanie Cheape as a tribute to key workers during the pandemic.
