George and Becky North have announced they are expecting their second child.
The couple publicly revealed the news on social media, with double-Olympic silver medalist Becky posting a picture of the pair at a wedding on her Instagram page.
The caption read: "Yesterday’s wedding with the hubby & bump. 10 weeks till we meet baby no.2"
The post has received thousands of likes and over 100 comments, with baby number two set to arrive over a year after the birth of their first son, Jac in May last year. The couple got married in June, 2019.
North, capped 101 times by Wales, recently opened up on how the birth of his son had changed his priorities, with the Ospreys star admitting that he was motivated by a fear of letting his son down.
“My dad has said it to me and my mates have also said similar things – When they hand you your firstborn, there is not a feeling like it,” he told WalesOnline.
“At that point, I could have taken 50 bullets to the chest, ripped a car door off and gone full Hulk to protect Jac when he was first handed to me.
“Playing for your country and representing your family is the biggest thing, the pride and honour that goes with it is second to none. It’s everything.
“It’s another motivation for me now, that I don’t let him down. So when that question does come and he asks: ‘Dad, why did you stop?’ It will be because I was dragged off or I was too broken to keep going, not because I gave in to external pressures and things that were out of my control.”
