Geordie Shore will feature cast members from around the world in wildest revamp yet

The next series of Geordie Shore will feature cast members from around the world in the wildest revamp of the reality show yet.

Producers of the hit MTV show are recruiting cast members from the different versions of the network’s hugely successful ‘Shore’ series, including the American show Jersey Shore, and Mexico’s Acapulco Shore.

They’re hopeful that budding romances between the stars will boost ratings, and any boozy bust ups between the newcomers will be caught on camera.

Chloe Ferry and James Tindale - who starred on the original Geordie Shore when it was launched in 2011 - will be the representatives from the UK version, but it’s not yet known who will be heading over from the US.

Jersey Shore launched the careers of Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, Paul ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio, and Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley when it first aired back in 2009, and the series spawned several spin-offs before ending in 2012.

MTV will also be featuring cast members from its latest ‘Shore’ reality show, Floribama Shore, which follows eight wannabes - including Jeremiah Buoni, Aimee Hall and Candace Rice - who live on the Gulf Coast in Panama City Beach, Florida.

And Geordie Shore bosses want their ‘ultimate’ version of the reality series to be as wild as possible.

“They'll compete in challenges to decide which of the Shores is the greatest. Along the way the show will be packed with the usual wild antics. Fans of Geordie Shore will absolutely love it,” an insider told The Sun.

Geordie Shore debuted a decade ago in 2011, and introduced viewers to Charlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle, Vicky Pattison, Holly Hagan, James Tindale, Ricci Guarnaccio, Jay Gardner and Sophie Kasaei.

It was a huge hit, and fans loved the unfiltered reality show, which focused on the gang’s ups and downs, as well as their boozy nights outs - and the aftermath.

Their drunken nights out have become the stuff of TV legend, with many of them ending in fights back in the house.

In the first series of the show, Vicky and Jay ended their short-lived romance after she spat her drink at him following an argument, while Charlotte ended up having a vicious fight with newcomer Marnie Simpson in 2013.

There was plenty of romance in the house, with Gaz and Charlotte winning viewers over with their quirky relationship, while Vicky and Ricci ended up engaged during a special series in Mexico in 2012, despite the couple’s turbulent relationship.

They ended things in dramatic fashion as their engagement broke down just a few months later, and he quit the show to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2014.
