There will soon be the pitter patter of tiny feet for former Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson after she confirmed her pregnancy on Sunday night, with many of her former co-stars quick to pass on their congratulations.
A number of Marnie's social media followers had speculated she might be expecting after she looked to be cradling a bump in a number of recent photo uploads and the 27 year old announced her pregnancy to OK! magazine .
She is expecting her first child with boyfriend Casey Johnson and is four months down the line, with her baby due on October 16.
Marnie quit Geordie Shore last year, after revealing that the show just didn't feel the same anymore after the exit of a number of well known faces.

Someone who is back in the Geordie Shore fold now is original cast member and Marnie's cousin Sophie Kasaei.
She was one of the first celebs to pass on her congratulations to Marnie, tweeting "I am so so excited for my little princess to have her first baby! I’m going to be a Aunty...congrats @ CaseyCodyJ @ marnie love you both."
Holly Hagan, who appeared in a number of series of Geordie Shore alongside Marnie, quoted OK Magazine's tweet about their interview with Marnie adding "EEEKKKK!" and Nathan Henry, who like Sophie is currently on screen in series 19, posted "I’m sooo excited and so happy for you. Both @ marnie & @ CaseyCodyJ can’t wait to babysit."
Speaking to OK, Marnie admitted she feared she would never get pregnant because of all her partying on Geordie Shore.
She said "She told OK! magazine: "Because I’d done Geordie Shore: Where Are They Now? A look at castmates past and present I’d convinced myself that I couldn’t have kids because of all the alcohol abuse."
