Geordie Shore stars hit with 'barrage of abuse' from Brits back home over Dubai trip

A trio of Geordie Shore stars have come under fire from Brits as they continue to live it up in Dubai while England gets to grips with another national lockdown.

It's been nearly two weeks since Chloe Ferry and best pal and co-star Bethan Kershaw jetted off to the UAE, with reported millionaire Chloe telling her millions of Instagram followers that she was heading there on 'a business trip' to shoot for her Ferry Body swimwear and lingerie collection.

The pair were soon joined in Dubai by another Geordie Shore star, South Shields' Sophie Kasaei, with all three sharing highlights of their trip on their respective social media accounts.

Over the past weeks they've mingled with other reality TV stars like TOWIE 's Demi Sims and Kelsey Stratford and Love Island's Gaby Allen and Kaz Crossley at pool parties, bars and dinner shows and on yachts with all three also posing up a storm on Dubai's lush beaches.

But, as well as fans and celeb friends praising their photos and reacting with positive emojis, Chloe, who revealed she's extended her stay, Bethan and Sophie have seen their comments sections filled with abuse at the fact they're over in Dubai.

All three flew there before the North East even went into tier 4 in the week before the third lockdown was enforced by PM Boris Johnson, but that fat has done little to quell fellow Brits' anger.

Commenting on a picture Chloe uploaded of the trio, along with two others, which she captioned: "Friends are everything," one annoyed Instagram user ranted: "I haven't seen my friends or family for nearly a year it's amazing what a bit of money can do, at least don't rub it in our faces whilst all of us suffer in silence and the NHS works harder to protect us."

Echoing those sentiments, another reacted: "Just a question , do you not feel bad boasting and showing of about your Holiday while the whole country is suffering at home."

And a third told her: "Wish we could see ours in England your posts aren’t being received well back here."

Reacting to a picture Sophie, 30, posted of her posting on a yacht, one follower blasted: "Stay in dubai and leave covid there."
