Gaz Beadle’s wife Emma McVey has revealed she has been rushed to hospital and is hooked up to a drip after she lost “a lot of blood”.
The 28-year-old mother-of-two – who shares a three-year-old son named Chester and a one-year-old daughter named Primrose with 33-year-old Gaz – alarmed fans when she revealed she had been rushed to hospital.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Emma shared a video of herself lying on a hospital bed with a drip connected to her arm.
She warned fans, followers, and work colleagues that she would likely be offline for a few days as she focused on getting herself better.

She wrote: “Emails/work/DM’s I will get back to everyone when I am out of hospital.
“We weren’t prepared for this as much as we’ve been panicking about preparing the kids for when I go into hospital.”
The model – who married Geordie Shore star Gaz in a romantic, family filled, wedding last month – sparked panic among fans and followers with her update.
She is due to go into hospital for an operation on her heart – but she updated followers to explain that particular procedure is planned for a later date.
She wrote: “So sorry guys, poor Gary has just been bombarded.
“I’m not having my heart surgery yet. I’m losing a lot of blood, nutrients & weight unintentionally which is making me really poorly.

“I just need to stay in hospital on a drip, have steroids and get nutrients in me. Once my body starts responding I’ll be allowed home with medications but probably not until next week so I’ll most likely be quiet on here.”
She added: “Thank you for all the messages” alongside a red heart emoji.
Emma went on to share video of her children outside picking flowers to take to her in hopsital.
Meanwhile, Gaz has been updating fans too, explaining that he and his children are sadly unable to visit Emma while she is getting treatment.
He wrote on an Instagram Stories post: “Killing us we can’t visit… me and the kids will miss you so much.

“U just get better and home to us soon as possible.”
He added: “PS Don’t worry about a thing at home I got this” along with a number of red and blue heart emojis.
Back in June, Emma revealed that she required open heart surgery after doctors discovered three holes in her heart.

She explained at the time: "I have three large holes in my heart and damaged tissue which is causing my blood to pass through the wrong direction, the right side of my heart is now enlarged and weak, along with high blood pressure in my lungs.
"This has all got a lot worse as they should of been closed when I was a child, unfortunately no one checked my heart even when I had seizures and diagnosed with epilepsy or fainted like it was a hobby.”
She also revealed that doctors told her they were surprised she had been able to survive the birth of her daughter – who arrived in December 2019 – as she had the undiagnosed health issues.
