Geordie Shore newcomer Amelia Lily has revealed she wants to be in a soap, just days after she made her debut on the MTV show.
Former X Factor finalist Amelia is without a doubt the most surprising Geordie Shore new addition in the show's nine year history, with her arrival in the house for series 21 sending shockwaves through the rest of the cast.
Amelia told Chronicle Live she saw Geordie Shore as a chance to "relive her youth," having shot to TV fame at the age of just 16 and then "always being in long term relationships," as well as starring in musicals like Shrek and American Idiot.
Her first Geordie Shore episode saw her get close to fellow newcomer Ant Kennedy but Amelia is already thinking about what she'll do next and, in an interview on FUBAR Radio, she revealed she really wants to be in a TV soap.
She told Access all Areas: "“I love performing on stage and I love my singing and acting so it would probably be to be in a soap. I’d love to go into a soap one day.
"Hopefully one day. I’ve been in for them quite a few times, one in particular. I would love to do that. I would absolutely love to carry on with my acting. That’s what I’ve always wanted to do.
Jjudging from my accent, it can’t be Eastenders! I’d probably say Hollyoaks or Emmerdale."
