Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison 'not ready for a baby' as she continues egg freezing treatment

Vicky Pattison has opened up further on her IVF treatment, admitting that she and fiancé Ercan Ramadan are not ready to be parents just yet.

The former Geordie Shore favourite, 35, is currently in the process of freezing eggs and embryos so the couple can delay planned parenthood to the future, detailing how she knows they are 'making the right decision'.

Vicky initially announced that she was preparing to freeze her eggs last year, with the couple now delaying their wedding until after the treatment is finished.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star, Vicky said: "I know we are making the right decision. I have openly told everyone that I am not ready for a baby, that Ercan is not ready, that our relationship isn’t ready yet so many people say to me, ‘Just do it. Just have a baby’.

"I think, ‘Do you know how toxic that narrative is?’ We need to be kinder to women and a bit more understanding. I haven’t made the decision so I can enjoy drinking for the next five years and party. I have worked hard on myself. I have had therapy and I want to be the best mum possible and I am proud of that."

IVF has been far from a walk in the park for Vicky however, with the reality-TV star detailing how the process has been 'much harder' than she initially thought. She added: "It’s been much harder than I realised and there has been some abuse too.

"But I realise how lucky I am, not only financially but also biologically to be able to do this. I count my blessings."

Wallsend-born Vicky has been sharing her personal development process and IVF journey on her weekly podcast, Vicky Pattison: The Secret To.
