TV fans are convinced that Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei and The Only Way Is Essex's Jordan Brook enjoyed a 'date night' in Newcastle at the weekend, after the reality favourites posted near identical photos from the same Newcastle restaurant.
Sophie has had a number of her relationships put in the television spotlight, since she shot to fame as an original Geordie Shore cast member back in 2011. Her often fraught romance with now chart-topping DJ Joel Corry, was the focus of much of her early time on the show, while she then found love nearly a decade later on Ex on the Beach, with co-star Ash Tyler.
More recently, Sophie has dated boxer Lee Gray, before they called it quit at the end of last year, after a series of rows. She is currently on screen in Geordie Shore 's reunion series, as filming moves to Portugal, at the same time that rumoured love interest Jordan has returned to TOWIE for its new run on ITVBe.

Like Sophie, Essex lad Jordan is no stranger to having his love life scrutinised by viewers and, after being given the brush-off by Chloe Brockett, looked to have rekindled things with another co-star, Ella Rae Wise, at the end of last week's TOWIE. However, right as that was playing out on screen, Jordan was in Newcastle, uploading a shot of city centre haunt The Botanist's famous sparkling roof on his Instagram story.
And what has set tongues wagging is that Sophie posted a very similar picture on her Insta at the same time. Jordan then confirmed he was in Newcastle as he posted a photo of himself at a different venue on his Instagram grid, adding the caption: "Gettin Mortal."
One of Sophie's Geordie Shore pals, Nathan Henry, was quick to reply, writing: "Ohhhh he’s in the north east," while another star of the Geordie Shore Reunion, Zahida Allen asked: "Are you a Geordie now?"
Referencing what they'd seen brewing between Jordan and Ella on TOWIE, another of his followers commented: "Stay away from Ella she’s trouble."
Sophie was instrumental in bringing together Geordie Shore stars past and present for the show's reunion party in Newcastle earlier this year. Gaz Beadle and Vicky Pattison were the only big stars from the MTV show to 'snub' the bash, with the likes of Greg Lake, Chantelle Connelly and Kyle Christie all making shock returns for the new series.
