Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei has told her millions of Instagram followers that she's going to 'self isolate' after showing symptoms of coronavirus.
South Shields lass Sophie, currently on screen in spin-off show Geordie OGs, looked worried when she took to her Insta story on Sunday afternoon to reveal she was "scared".
Looking a lot less glam than usual, the 30-year-old, who was an original Geordie Shore cast member back in 2011, said: "I'm aware I look like s**t. I'm scared...I think I've got it, I think I'm infected.
"I'm isolating now. I've just had to get my mam to go to Lidl. I didn't want to go in so I'm sitting in the car. I'm hoping she's going to me the best Sunday dinner ever, then that's me bed bound for the next week.
"Anyone else feel like this? I'm f***ed! Am I infected?
Sophie's concerns come as the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the UK soars past 1,300, with the number of deaths from the viral pandemic standing at 35.
A number of countries are now in lockdown, including Italy and Spain, with scores of UK flights to many European destinations and the United States being scrapped.
In the next few days, the Government looks set to ban mass gatherings in the UK, as well as introducing drastic measures which could see people over 70 being asked to self-isolate for months in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus.
