Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry survives lockdown with 'best parmo in Newcastle'

Chloe Ferry has made her many social media followers jealous by tucking into a very tasty looking parmo as she tries to survive lockdown.

The 24-year-old, who was last week revealed to be a millionaire, has been staying at home like many others as coronvirus continues to spread across the UK.

And, while the likes of McDonald's, Greggs and Nandos have now closed, she managed to satisfy her munchies from a Newcastle restaurant that dubs itself the king of parmos.

Since opening in the city centre a few years ago, Manjaros has proved massively popular with locals, Geordie Shore stars and celebrities like Hollyoaks star David Easter and boxing legend Chris Eubank.

And, as people strive to find places still doing take outs and deliveries, Chloe got a parmo from Manjaros, who she's previously claimed do 'the best in Newcastle', that looked absolutely amazing.

Now, if you still aren't familiar with what a parmo is, the Google definition is: '‘a dish consisting of deep-fried breaded chicken, pork, or other meat covered with béchamel sauce and cheese and then grilled, typically sold as takeaway food.’

While it is a particular favourite down the road in Teesside, plenty of Geordies are fans of it too and, sharing a clip of her food on her Instagram story, Chloe exclaimed: "oh my god chicken parmo...I can't wait for this! Guys, they are now delivering! Oh-oh-oh-ah-ah-ah!"

As well as staying open for call and collect and deliveries, Manjaros have been doing their bit to help the workers involved in fighting coronavirus. On Tuesday they delivered parmos to NHS staff and captioned the picture: "They Are Working Tirelessly And Putting Themselves On The Frontline For The Safety Of Us.

"NHS, Manjaros Salutes You."

You can order a Manjaros on Deliveroo HERE or ring 0191 261 8764 from 4 - 10.30pm.
