Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby sent 'olive branch' text to ex Gaz Beadle to attend reunion

Charlotte Crosby sent an 'olive brunch' text to ex Gaz Beadle in a bid to get him to attend the Geordie Shore reunion.

Pregnant star Charlotte has played a pivotal role in the new series of the long-running show, having been an original Geordie Shore cast member back in 2011, alongside Gaz and other well known faces like Vicky Pattison and Holly Hagan. Holly joined Charlotte and cousins Sophie Kasaei and Marnie Simpson as one of the chief organisers for the already filmed reunion, which took the form of a massive party at Boiler Shop in Newcastle back in the spring.

Charlotte quit Geordie Shore in 2016, having suffered an ectopic pregnancy while carrying Gaz's baby, with the pair then becoming embroiled in a heated row online. Despite her shock departure from the show, Sunderland-born star Charlotte always said she'd be tempted back for a reunion and, true to her word, she went back into the fold for the delayed series.

Geordie Shore: T he Reunion made its debut on MTV last week and in the first episode, viewers saw Charlotte confess to her co-stars that she had reached out to Gaz via text, in the hope that he would join his fellow OGs at the reunion event. Charlotte told boyfriend Jake Ankers that she sent the message to her former flame but admits she was "panicked," by how it would look on screen.

While other Geordie Shore originals like Jay Gardner and Greg Lake did attend the reunion, it remains to be seen if Gaz did turn up, although, in reference to the text she sent him, Charlotte has teased: "Wait til you see the reply!"

While a question mark remains over Gaz's involvement in the reunion, one person who has publicly ruled themselves out of playing any part is Vicky Pattison. VIcky quit the show at the end of 2014, before going onto win I'm A Celebrity a year later and has often spoke of her 'regret' at some of the things she did on Geordie Shore.

Going on the record earlier this year to confirm she wouldn't be going back for the reunion after being approached to take part, Vicky said: "It brought out the very worst qualities in me and I’ve no desire to relive any of it. I wish them the absolute best, and I’ve no doubt it’s going to be incredible because they’re all amazing people and brilliant characters. But it didn’t make me happy at all."
