Geordie Shore's Ant Kennedy left with broken jaw and needing surgery after first night in Ibiza

Reality star Ant Kennedy has been left needing surgery after being left with a broken jaw on his first night of an Ibiza trip.

Several of the Geordie Shore cast have headed to the White Isle this week, after the show's reunion series confirmed. And following on from Chloe Ferry, Sophie Kasaei, Nathan Henry and Abbie Holborn who all jetted off to the Balearics a few days earlier, Ant and co-star Louis Shaw flew out from Newcastle Airport on Friday.

The lads were all smiles when they joined friends for drinks in a departure lounge bar, before heading on a Ryanair flight to Ibiza. Once landing, Ant uploaded a video off him and Louis heading off on their first night out but then on Saturday morning, Ant startled his many Instagram followers when his next holiday snapshot was from a hospital bed, with his face looking all swollen.

He captioned the shot: "First night in Ibiza. Broken jaw in two places, needing surgery. Think I will be going home now thanks." Ant then uploaded another shot of his hospital bed, thanking people for their caring messages and revealing that he'd been booked in for surgery later in the day.

Looking in pain, Ant returned to Instagram to explain that he'd been hit by "a lad then another lad," whilst out, leaving him with not just a double fracture, as originally first thought, but a triple fracture.

Ant joined the Geordie Shore cast in 2019, with him first being seen on screen in summer 2020, after the cast had just managed to squeeze in all of the their filming before Covid hit. He was a newcomer for series 21 alongside Barnsley lad Louis, who previously won MTV's Too Hot to Handle and former X Factor star Amelia Lily. All three are expected to feature in the upcoming reunion series, having all headed to the same event in Newcastle week, where Charlotte Crosby shared news of her pregnancy.
