Geordie Shore reunion party takes over Boiler Shop in Newcastle as trailer confirms shock returns

The cast and crew of Geordie Shore took over Boiler Shop in Newcastle as several stars made a shock return to the show.

It has now been 11 years since the MTV series made its much publicised debut, with several local MPS condemning the wild antics of the likes of C harlotte Crosby, Gaz Beadle and Vicky Pattison, while millions of viewers lapped it up. Another original star of the show, James Tindale admitted that the cast didn't really know what the future held for them after filming wrapped on the first series in Jesmond but, realising they were on a good thing, MTV bosses swiftly ordered a second one and the rest, as they say, is history.

Over the past 11 years, the Geordie Shore cast have filmed all over the world in the likes of Spain, Australia, Mexico and Greece, with its stars enjoying popularity extending way beyond home soil. And now, many of its cast are ready to enjoy a slice of TV fame once again with the reunion series.

Rumours flew over who would be making a return to the Geordie Shore fold for filming after several cast members, past and present, hinted on Instagram that they were off to film a 'secret' event. Well that event was the reunion party, which was held at Boiler Shop, famous for being the Newcastle home of Bongo's Bingo, back in the spring.

As well as uniting cast members, some of whom hadn't seen each other in years, the Geordie Shore reunion bash was made even more special by the fact that Charlotte announced her pregnancy there.

The advert for Geordie Shore: The Reunion is now on heavy rotation on MTV, with plenty of well known faces seen in the trailer. As well as current cast members like Chloe Ferry, Nathan Henry and Bethan Kershaw, the clip also confirms returns for Marnie Simpson,. Chantelle Connelly, Ricci Guarnaccio and original cast member Jay Gardner.

And, right at the end of the advert, a car pulls up at Boiler Shop, with the person who gets out promoting jaws ton drop amongst the cast waiting outside.
