Geordie Shore has now been on our screens for eight years and things look to have gone full circle as an original cast member was spotted out as filming kicked off for series 20 this week.
It was back in the spring of 2011 that Newcastle's own version of Jersey Shore first hit our screens and since then there has been sex, scuffles and plenty of shots, as millions of viewers have regularly tuned into the show on MTV.
Series 19 ended on MTV just this week but filming on the next lot of episodes has already begun. And while new faces from the last series - Bethan Kershaw, Beau Brennan, Natalie Phillips and Tahlia Chung were all back, there was a shock appearance from an OG as the Geordie Shore cast partied at Newcastle bar Jalou.
James Tindale was one of the first people seen on screen when Geordie Shore made its debut, joining the likes of Vicky Pattison, Gaz Beadle and Charlotte Crosby in the house, back when it was based in a plush terrace in Jesmond.
And he joined the newcomers from series 19 as well as Chloe Ferry, Sam Gowland, Nathan Henry and Abbie Holborn as the cast hit the Toon to start series 20 in style.
Since leaving Geordie Shore, James has become a successful fitness entrepreneur, following up contracts with the likes of Muscle Mix and God's Gift, by opening his own gym - Gym Unique - in Durham.
