Geordie Shore offer Holly Hagan help amid claims she was forced to work during breakdown

Holly Hagan was offered help by concerned Geordie Shore bosses after claims she was forced to work during a breakdown emerged.

Sensationally the reality star claimed the Geordie Shore TV bosses "forced" her to work while she was struggling with a "breakdown" behind the scenes.

Concerned producers rang in to check with the TV star following her complaints on social media via Instagram stories over the weekend.

Holly was pleased TV bosses have offered the Geordie Shore bombshell any support she may need.

She said on Instagram stories: "The OGs producers just called me with concern about my posts about Geordie yesterday. They wanted to let me know there's someone there I can speak to if I need it which is nice.

"However, I do sometimes panic about sharing my stories but this is my truth. I make it clear times have changed and the treatment is now different but what happened to me happened.

"I won't hide that. And by me sharing my stories hopefully makes them actively want to do and be better. We all make mistakes and times change."

Holly told her 3.8million loyal fans that things have changed on Geordie Shore since she first joined.

She said: "You usually don't recognise how bad something was until you're out of it. Also things are very different now to how they were then. But the same as a mentally abusive relationship you usually don't realise you were in one until you're out of one.

"I quit at the end of series 1 and said I'd never go back but was persuaded to do the summer special because they said I had a chance to not leave things on a bad note like I had done in series 1."

Holly reassured her fans she's always had an "amazing" relationship with her crew on the ground at Geordie Shore.

She said: "They end up like family! They've given us advice when we're going through break ups or hard times they go above and beyond their job description in Geordie.

"They've become therapists too."
